Dr. Colleen Pomplun grew up in Redgranite, Wisconsin and graduated from Wautoma High School. She attended River Falls and UW Oshkosh before going to Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology in 1991 and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1993 from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, now Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCUHS).

Her internships included rotations at The Chiropractic Clinic in Pasadena, California, Cal State Northridge Rehabilitation Center, and Salvation Army in Los Angeles and Pasadena. Dr. Pomplun has had extensive postgraduate education through SCUHS and Northwestern University of Health Sciences, which included 100 hours of sports medicine, 300 plus hours of rehab, 300 plus hours in orthopedics and 48 hours in nutrition.

Colleen has always been active in sports and maintains that interest now for good health and fitness. She engages in various activities but much enjoys biking, kayaking and skiing, especially when her family joins her.

Dr. Robin Roecker is a graduate of National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL.  She completed her internship at ChiroPlus Complementary Healthcare Centers in Green Lake and Wautoma and received her diploma in December 2009.  Click here to see Dr. Roecker’s hours at both locations.

Robin was born and raised on a dairy farm outside Hartford, WI. She is a 2006 graduate of Ripon College, where she majored in Spanish and spent 5 months studying abroad and living in southern Spain. She also spent her four years at Ripon College traveling with the Redhawks’ sports teams as a student athletic trainer.  It was there when she met Dr. Colleen Pomplun, who provided guidance and insight into what it means to be a chiropractor. Robin’s strong background in sports medicine, along with her passion to help others, solidified her dream of becoming a chiropractor.

Robin’s chiropractic education includes internships completed at the Salvation Army in Chicago, IL, National University of Health Sciences Aurora Clinic, Aurora, IL, and the Veterans Affairs Illiana Hospital in Danville, IL. She is certified in the treatment of  temporomandibular joint dysfunction and has been trained in Kinesio Tape therapy.

Before moving back to Wisconsin Tara Gibbs (nee Anderson) worked as a massage therapist and chiropractic assistant at Rebound Chiropractic of Newport News, Virginia, where she had many clients.

For years Tara was interested in massage therapy, so when she decided to leave the Army she went to school for massage therapy. She attended Everest Institute of Newport News, Virginia and received her massage therapy diploma in August of 2007. She excelled in Swedish, chair, sports, pregnancy, and infant massage.

Barbie Wendt graduated from Fox Valley School of Massage in Appleton WI, in June of 2008. Barbie has always had a special interest in massage therapy and holistic health care, and with the growing acceptance of it has decided to pursue it even further. Through her schooling she learned Swedish, therapeutic and sports massage.  She has also had ongoing continued education classes in Orthopedic Massage and has taken special classes in lymphatic drainage, MRF and has a special interest in pregnancy massage. Along with massage Barbie also has a Managers License in Cosmetology and is certified to perform spa treatments such as facials, waxing, and body wraps.
